The choreographic piece *ENTROPIE* is based on two key elements:
The continuation of the research approach, which can be found in the choreographic works of Léo Lérus. This research has always aimed to develop an awareness, knowledge, signature, and tools regarding the presence of a Guadeloupean creator in the world of contemporary dance. It is a choreographic pursuit aiming for a contemporary dance directly linked to the musicality and physicality found in Gwo-Ka and other Caribbean dances, corresponding to subjects and themes around Léwoz, carnival, and Guadeloupean identity. The approach is part of the continuation of Guadeloupean culture through the works of other Guadeloupean artists. The goal is to contribute to the growth of contemporary dance in Guadeloupe, while collaborating deeply with international artists from diverse cultures, and with the desire to introduce new tools offered by current technology.
The book *Thermodynamics of Evolution: An Essay on Thermo-Bio-Sociology*. For its author, the scientist François Roddier, "This book carries a message to current and future generations. History shows that whenever a society is in crisis, it looks for culprits and designates scapegoats. This book points out the real culprit: the laws of statistical mechanics against which we are individually powerless. Our suffering is due to entropy, which is linked to our ignorance of the laws of the universe."
In this book, starting from fundamental laws, he shows us that regarding energy, as everyone knows, nothing is created, nothing is lost, and every open system always follows the same process concerning its use of energy. This law applies equally to the universe, our planet, every biological being, and all animal and human civilizations. This tendency leads to what is called entropy, commonly considered as chaos.
